About the event
Open Up Mississippi is a youth mental health leadership council. Youth ages 14-26 are invited to join this council to be trained in NAMI programs that educate front line workers as well as their peers. The group meets twice a month and gives the opportunity to build leadership skills, educate on the mental health journey from a young persons perspective, develop public speaking skills, meet others with like minded goals and is a great resume builder for the future.
